Talked with a reliable source today and they said it will be completely finished in time for Sept.3. It will be much better than what Skip was saying about it being "habitable".
So, you have a secret source more reliable than Skip, eh. Sure, buddy. "Completely finished" means that every seat is in, every sign is up, all the concession are in, all the paint and carpets are in, all the A/C works, all the lights work, the elveators are working, and all the construction debris is cleaned up. Not a chance. I think everybody will have a seat for game one, but the job won't be finished and the contractor gone until late-season. At least that's what Skip and the contractor say.
I believe it. Makes sense for the AD to undersell and overperform than the other way around. Fans will now be "pleasantly surprised" when the stadium's a done deal come Sept. Sure beats the alternative, eh?
