don't like the out of bounds rule, like the replay rule, indifferent on the kickoff, like the new facemask, indifferent on sideline warning but leading towards not liking the new rule.
horrendous. penalizes the game just like the stupid clock rule enacted previously. Terrible. there is a huge difference between trying to rip someone's heado ff and accidentally grabbing it, hence the rule in the first place. speed up the game? do like the big 10 and have the reviews done in about 60 seconds. less plays at the sake of speeding up the game is detrimental to the game itself.
Why do they feel the need to mess with the clock? That is an awful rule. Grow a pair and cut 3 commercials out.
no more sideline warning means Les better teach his kids this rule fast. I am confused. will they just not call incidental face masks anymore, or will all face masks be 15 yards? if it's the latter, that's stupid.
and of course the rule they need to fix most, they didn't fix. they need to make blatent pass interference penalties spot-fouls, so you can't tackle someone 60 yards down the field and just get 15 yards out of it. I agree also on the other foot that a touch-foul 50 yards down the field shouldn't be a 50 yard penalty. I think it should be referee's discretion, just like the old face mask rule.
