The Football Expert.com just did a new draft that looks pretty surprising with 3 Tigers in the top 8. Jamarcus #1 to the Raiders Bowe #7 to the Vikings who are need of a WR in the 1st 2 rounds. I have also seen reports that the Vikings might wait till the 2nd round and pick between WR Smith of USC and Craig Buster Davis. Landry #8 to Falcons Pittman #155 to Raiders CB Aaron Ross to the Saints at #27 and Buster Davis to the Saints in the 2nd Round. I would love to see these 2 in the Black and Gold next year. OLB Rufus Alexander in the 3rd to the Saints. And at #201 they say the Saints could tale a shot at WR Samardzija. 7 Round Mock Draft
drew henson said that, too... it's worth the risk... he may get tired of baseball someday and be WELLLL worth it.
I knew it worked the other way around (michael vick getting drafted in the MLB draft just for the heck of it and his sheer athletic ability) but I didn't know that it was worth it to use a draft pick in the nfl like that? Especially if he is already signed, sealed, and at spring training with the cubs. (being interviewed by jim rome on rome is burning none the less ha)
Wouldn't mind if this guy were a prophet. That looks like a good all-around draft for the Saints. Didja notice---QB Troy Smith in round 4?
I'm just happy that JRuss is gonna get some bling. I know it's been stated a bajillion times on here, but I really hope that JR doesn't go to the Raiders. I'd much rather see BQ go there and have the off-chance of succeeding than JR go where a great staff can mold him. We won't know if his success and leaps and bounds of progress are the result of coaching or talent until he plays, but I'm thinking it's more of the former. Even the best materials are worthless in the hands of someone unfit to work with them.
As much as I would love to see three Tigers drafted in the Top 10, but I just dont see that happening.
