I was talking with friends/family recently and debating the candidates.
We came up with an idea since we were not very pleased with either candidates, or with some of the decisions our current President has made/is making. Since it is the people who surround the president, his cabinet and advisor's, why not have the people who the candidates are considering for those positions enter into a debate on issues dealing with the position they possibly would be taking. Now I know that the cabinet members have to be approved and what not but we were just thinking since they play such a big role in the President's final decisions why not talk to them.

    What do you think?

Understand I am not asking about the actual feasibility of doing this (financially and whether they have anyone in mind), only what you think about the concept. Good Idea or bad and why.

I think its good because we really get to know the people behind the scenes that are advising the President on how to act in almost every situation. It may need a little more thought and tweaking but for a simple conversation in a car I thought it some worth while merit.
