not sure i can watch it anymore. very stale. they need some creative weapons and big plans. enough of this soap opera crap.
The writers lost it--big time!--with this episode. First, they wasted all that film on Rick's continued self-serving psychotic break. BFD, Rick. Hundreds of millions of people are all dead! Hershel's wife & son are dead! Lots of people the group started out with are dead too. Move on, fool. Most of that footage belonged on the editing room floor. Too bad we are stuck watching it! Three guys paralyze the group--hitting nothing but a "throw away" bit part actor. They have everyone pinned down--but they leave anyway. Why? Was it time for their 4 pm tea & scones? Ridiculous episode. Man up, Rick. You are making me wish that Shane killed you instead of the other way around. In this post-apocalyptic world, Shane makes more sense than the crybaby introspective Rick.
Worst part of the entire series. A guys who's been a rock for the group through thick and thin losing it by seeing the ghost of his dead wife? STUPID and infuriating!
I agree with this. I was so happy when Rick finally stood up to all the naysayers a couple of seasons ago. He took control and handled the situation, just for him to fall apart because his wife is dead? Stupid
I like that Merle is back. His character will be good for a lot of friction. I hope that the governor's attack will cause Rick to wake the flock up. Will the prison group retaliate? Andrea needs to wake the flock up and get the hell outta Woodbury. Or she needs to be offed if she is dumb enough to believe that the governor didnt know about Maggie and Glen being captured. Speaking ofAndrea, I thought she was the driver of the zombie party wagon. Supa brings up a good point of wondering where this dude went. And what is up withMaggie? I get she's upset that she was humiliated by the governor. But why is she pissed at glen? It seems that he didnt know that she wasnt raped until she told him but he still wants to put the hurting on the governor. Supa mentioned that one of the executive producers was let go, I think it was Altman, the creator of the comics. I think the story is struggling without him.
I think the group not being able to respond effectively to the governors attack is primarily a confidence issue. The group was weak with rick wandering the grounds of st. Elsewhere and with Daryl gone and they knew it. They should be able to mount an effective response with daryl and merle back and a partial restoration of rick's sanity.
So I haven't watched S03.2E02 yet, in fact I'm watching it now, but I'm already tired of ghost Lori. I don't need ghosts in my zombie show. What's next? They run into a group that's in this huge dark house owned by a Dr. Acula, who's roommate is Jewish fella named Frank N. Stein?
Yeah, I was sick of real Lori, I sure don't want to have to put up with ghost Lori. But at least ghost Lori speaks very little. That makes her a slight bit more tolerable. Now, I am thinking how that might be you guys dream woman...disappears at times and speaks very little...
I'm with whoever said Shane should've killed Rick. I liked this show after i saw a first and second season marathon. But after catching up, Rick is apparently a panty waste. Thinking maybe Carl should just put his dad out to pasture and lead the people.
