Looks like the ACC is a team short of 12 but may have a playoff anyway as they will decide this in December.

Having 3 of the Top 5 teams in America in a conference may rival the SEC ... as the Best conference

    Miami, VT & FSU are #2, #4 & #5 respectively now.

When those teams play eachother they'll lose, therefore they'll be knocked out of the top five. In 2001 3 SEC teams finished in the top ten. Next year LSU will beat VT, Florida will beat FSU and UM. The SEC will land on it's feet.

I think you are quite right. We will be at a talent peak next year with both of Nick's #1-ranked recruiting classes out of their redshirts and playing. Florida is also loaded with talent. However this season progresses, 2004 is definitely looking like the Year of the Tiger.

I don't know about next year--the schedule is much more favorable right now. We already beat UGA, the best team we play this year. FU, Auburn, and Arky have to come to our house, and we play Bama in Tuscaloser where we usually win. Next year those series all flip. We should be able to win in the Swamp, but the Plains and Arky will be tough, as will beating Bama at home.
