I was watching PTI on ESPN and appearently the NCAA has done away with the halo rule for punt returners.
Around the Horn is a cheap imitation of PTI. I think the best show on ESPN is Sportscenter. I could watch it several times a day if they would only show it.
I love the 6:00 sportscenter, I don't really like the nightly broadcasts. I like both PTI and Around the Horn
SportCenter is great. I sometimes watch it over and over in the mornings when they keep replaying it. I also love PTI, along with Cornheizer's (sp?) radio show. don't think you pick it up in Baton Rouge, but not sure. It airs from 9-12 weekday mornings, right before that Dan Patrick show. (don't know it you get that either). But those two radio shows are hilarious. I think people think I am crazy sometimes when I am sitting at a traffic light laughing my a$$ off, with no one else in the car.
I'm glad the halo rule is gone. With it, there was NO reason for a punt return to call for a fair catch. While the gunners have to stop their momentum to avoid hitting him, he can make a first move and take off. Watch Texas Tech's Wes Welker and Kentucky's Derek Abney. They were the best at that crap. Ridiculous.
