NCAA investigation of Ole Miss

    Has anyone heard anything else about the allegations that a booster may have bought the brand new SUV for Ole Miss running back Ronald McLendon? I saw it in the paper a couple of days ago and havent heard anything else since.

    I know they are holding him out of games while the investigation is ongoing. It would really suck for Ole Miss if they had to go back and forfeit all the games they won in which he played. Especially if it happened after the season. That would be a big ass mess.

    Dont get me wrong, I really really believe we will kick their asses, but if for some Godforsaken reason they beat us, and go to the championship game, only to find out 6 months from now that they had to forfeit 4 or 5 games, that would be such a mess.

    we wont have to forfiet. the day he got the car the coaches recognized it and held him out of practice. Besides, they would have to prove the university knew the booster bought the car. NO WAY that happens.
