just read a little about the game on operation sports. Apparently the NCAA has made EAsports take out the fans rushing the field, they said they don't want it promoted. Also the rumor had gone around that we can design our own plays this year, doesnt' look like that is happening either. Also about Tiger Stadium, they apparently screwed up the yardage lines once again (#'s every 10yds, instead of 5), but I didn't see anything about the goalpost. My guess is that they screwed that up again as well. But the coolest thing I did see is that they have a LSU Classic Team this year. 1958 LSU This game is going to be awesome....for those of you that want to read some interesting things on the game go to the site above and register (its free) they have a message board just for NCAA 2004.
The 58 team is an awesome addition. Someone will need to come across a copy of the roster for those who want to edit all the names in for that team. I am pondering really hard on buying a console since my roommate with the PS2 has moved to take a job.
I'm in the same situation, my roomate moved out also and took heis PS2. Now i am debating to buy a XBox or PS2. I think i am going to go with the Xbox because of speed and graphics, also i heard that there is some kind of chip (or something) that you can attach to your XBox that allows you to store games on the XBox hard drive (..hmmmm...rent game, save game, return game). But the online play by PS2 also strikes my interest. Can't decide. here is a cool article i found on NCAA 2004 written by a journalist....this article is so true.....July 17 is circled on my calendar.. Article
Its under "Beta NCAA 2004 Football Impressions" it is one of the top threads in the NCAA 2004 discussion forum. The thread is REALLY long, something like 40pages and 750 posts. But its towards the bottom, click view "all pages" and its probably in the lower 25% of the posts. Here is a list of all classic teams. When you win one of the "Classic Games" both of those teams are unlocked. Goal posts are not correct. If you go to the easports ncaa website there are 3 trailers. watch the xbox one. It shows Matt mauck and you get a good view of tiger stadium. It looks 200X better than on the 2003 version.
Alright, they gave UGA #8. I can take that! Supposivly they were pretty generous with our OL so that should help in the game. I cant wait for this game to come out.
You're right I didn't notice that before. At least they got the visiting section in the south endzone this year. Last year they had the visitors in the north endzone and student section, and LSU's band was behind the goalposts in the south endzone. So at least that is fixed. I am guessing the "white thing" is a gab between the upper and lower sections of the south endzone. In the video, it looks like you can see trees through the gap as the camera pans.
