NAME ANY TIGERS THAT ARE FROM YOUR HOMETOWN, OR THAT YOU PLAYED AGAINST!

The board is a little slow so I was wondering if any of you know any current or former tigers from any sport. I grew up in the same town as David Lafluer and he is one hell of a guy. I played against Keith Zinger in a scrimmage game, he was playing defensive end for Leesville. He was good, on the first play of the game he hip tossed me about five yards!! pretty hilarious. He injured himself later in the game though. ldskule: I can't believe that I forgot Justin Vincent and Ryan Miller as well.

 

I was a freshman when David Butler was senior in High School. I played DB and didn't see much time with the first team, but I did go against him in practice a few times. He was an absolute beast in HS. (Tedrick Knightshed was from the same class, and walked on at LSU, but I think he only dressed for one game then quit)

I probably played against Rondel Mealey, because Destrehan was in the same district, and he's only a year older than me, but I don't remeber him from High School.

 

Torris Bright went to my high school. I was a year ahead of him. Chirs Duhon was at the crosstown rival. I cannot remember for certain but I believe Slidell High (my school) beat Chris Duhon's school once while both were there. I didn't know Torris but I've got some second hand stories best not said.

 

I have a story about Torris too...

MY high school whopped his's ass in the state finals! :rofl:

THE South Lafourche High School has had a few LSU Tigers in my day:

Nicky Savoie, Ryan Thomassie, Eric Griffin, and Ross Chouest

Glenn Dorsey, Gonzales/East Ascension High School. I've never met him, although my younger brother has known him and been a close friend of his since they were young kids.

 

I played against Todd McClure... I was a scrawny sophomore and he was a senior.. he pretty much body slammed me..

 

I was a solph at Barbe Hs in lake charles when Chad Cooley was a senior. We were good friends since we both played baseball and football He was a freak in both sports. I knew Justin Vincent's parents and Ryan Miller and I lived in the same neighborhood.

 

Layne Mestepay and Marcus Spears. Good ole' Zachary boys!!!
