As I am geared up in my Texans Jersey and My dad is in his Saints Jersey, I'll give my 0.2 on last night game before getting ready for todays big one. Our defense was some what exposed. And I am glad. This is now something for this Tigers defense to learn from and use to their advantage, as they attempt to get EVEN better before we dive into the meat and potatoes of the SEC schedule. First off you have to give credit to Geno smith, his O Line and that WR corps. But anybody who thinks that this is a blueprint for how to beat us, forget it. We will improve in this area and get better. Not to mention, he threw the ball 65 times. It's not like he is averaging 20 yards per toss. Before this game, the questions were asked, can LSU come from behind? Can the offense win the defense a game or two. Hopefully, you watched what I watched and got your answers. YES This is what makes a championship program special. The ability to score on defense, offense, special teams. We passed for 3 TD's, we rushed for 3 TD's we had a 99 yard kick return TD. We forced 4 turnovers and gave away ZERO! Our run defense is still as good as it gets. I think for the most part our defense did a good job defending basically the 2 minute drill every possession. I think our offense played great and is truly developing before our very eyes. Getting better every game. Brad Wing - How special is this guy!!! Ford/Ware - The One Two punch! Lee - If RR doesn't drop that pass, Lee has a 200 yard 4 TD game! Beckham - Next years Heisman? Not too look ahead too far, but OD and ZM are going to be a lot of fun the next 2 years! T-Rex - Well all us LSU fans can say, is "told you" Great Game Boys!!!!!! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070434,-95.534825
This was clearly our worst tackling performance since AU 2010.... Really, it was that bad. However, they hung in there and made plays. They are still very young and honestly, at some point I knew this as going to happen. I think the D's pride is hurt and I look for them to get back to basics....
