    Dear ABC sports,

As a former resident of Louisiana, life-long fan and supporter of LSU, and long-time fan of college football, I find it completely absurd, and rude, that your analysts and journalists, take the stand that USC lays claim to ANY share of the national title. Your network, and it's associates have down-played and degraded the Sugar Bowl--which IS this year's BCS National Title game. This is truely a classless act in my book. Whether LSU is in the Sugar Bowl or not, I would STILL expect that ABC and it's affiliates, give the proper respect that the BCS Championship game deserves.

No, the BCS is not a perfect system, and that is evident in the events that have happened this season. But like everything else in life, you "live and learn", and correct the problems that you experience. I definately believe that the BCS and it's supporters will work on correcting problems that plagued this year's BCS.

HOWEVER, for all it's mistakes, the BCS system IS the system that the NCAA, the media and colleges and universities AGREED ON to determine a national champion.

Personally, I feel that Oklahoma shouldn't be in the BCS title game--how can a team that doesn't win it's conference championship be a National Champion? But I didn't create the BCS rules and system. And if Oklahoma is the #1 and LSU is #2 in the BCS, then, that's what we HAVE to accept because that's what we all AGREED on in the first place.

Your collegues may choose to represent USC, and aide them in their little war on the BCS, but you're losing site of one important piece: LSU is probably the only team of the 3 that is in the correct spot. Having finished #2 in every poll (AP, Coaches and BCS). That being said, shouldn't you concentrate on acknowledging the Sugar Bowl as the National title game because AT LEAST there is one undisputed team in it that deserves to be in the championship game.
