shane used to love dat all up and down. I can just see them driving away in the "Just Married" car with empty cans tied to the back bumper dragging along behind them. Wait, I think he took her out on a family member's shrimp boat, anchored just outside the jetties and banged her bent over the turtle excluder device.
My wife and like to say we've been married for 27 wonderful years. We've been married for 31. A couple of those 4 years were really tough and we could have walked away pretty easy. But if we had we would have missed a good part of the wonderful years. And there are about 5 'Camelot' years sprinkled in the 31 that contain 75% of the memories I'll replay in my head when I'm to old to do anything else. Even some of the things we said and did in the bad years are funny to us once enough time has passed. Of course there are days that we will always regret. You don't get to cherry pick with marriage, its a package deal. And we don't know what the package will look like 25 years from now. But I wouldn't trade it for anything.
