I thought Kerry was supposed to be windsurfing in Nantucket, instead he is giving his lame ass speech again. During the opposing political convention it is expected that your opponent not campaign. Bush did not campaign while the DNC was going on; Kerry had no plans to campaign during the RNC. Now today he is at an American Legion Hall claiming that he will give the troops "all the latest weapons". Idiot ought to check his senate voting record... He has not voted to support or fund a major weapons program in 15 years.

He is accusing the Republicans of “corporate welfare”… because it's bad to help corporations and business to achieve success, to hire more workers, to support those workers retirement. To support those workers medical benefits, to pay those workers money so that the government doesn't have the burden of doing so. That is so bad... Let's just give people money and free medical benefits, which will work great.

I think Kerry is breaking the "no campaigning during convention" courtesy out
of desparation. My guess is that his own campaign people are telling him that he needs to redouble his efforts because the picture is looking a lot bleaker for him than the media is letting on to the public.

Right now, I'm predicting an 8 point spread...53-45 Bush, w/ 2% going to Nader, et. al. I may revise that as we get closer to Election Day.

They sure don't mind getting down in the mud and getting dirty when it comes to winning and losing, I'll say that.

PLEASE....Wake up! It's your party(REBUBLICAN) that's slamming the Democrats at the convention.

I don't recall that last month........

Why is it GW is in such a close race? How can a current President be in this close of a race while in wartime? Seriously?????????????????

He should be killing John Kerry, but he isn't.........

These are the same polls that had GW ahead of Gore in 2000 by 6-8 % points. What does it tell you when you see a dead heat race........

For some reason at least 1/2 of Americans don't really care for GW.

Just like his daddy............1 term president, 4 and out.

I haven't seen anybody "slamming" John Kerry at this convention, Crawfish...a far cry from the verbal lashing Pres. Bush took from
Ted Kennedy last month at the Dem convention...remember that? We may not have seen it because the organizers didn't want the attack dogs to be seen on network TV, but most of us heard about it or saw it on the cable
    coverage.

God knows, if they wanted to slam Kerry at this convention, the guy would be toast, because there is plenty to slam him on.

Didn't slam Bush at the Convention???? Surely you jest. That Demo fest in Bahston was one big "Bush is a liar" jamboree.

My candidate is fighting for America right now. And this is wartime. The only thing that Jane Fonda butt phu**in Kerry is fighting for is votes.
