While christianity is often under attack in this country and forum.
I believe the real threat of the world isn't Christianity its Islam in several different ways including violence and non violence.

I have a friend who is Mormon and refuses to work on Sundays. When he gets a job he tells them flat out that he won't do it. Does that mean it's Mormon law in Louisiana?

People make decisions everyday based on their kooky religious beliefs that doesn't mean that these kooky actions are supported by the state and law.

This is more about employers allowing their kooky employees to push wacko beliefs upon their customers not about law.

Islam sucks for damn sure, and I don't think you'll find many people around here defending it.

My question is, how is Christianity under attack in this country?

According to that article, everyone denounced that court ruling, even a muslim group. Man, I'm glad we don't have any radical christians in America!

I don't get it. Which laws are they trying to pass?

Imagine that. But yet you have no problems when christians refuse to do things that are against their religion.

The thing about this one is that it isn't against their religion. The pork on the pizza in questions is shrink-wrapped, and then put into a cardboard box. At no point is it even possible for the cashier to touch the pork. If I refused to do my job for made up reasons, I'd get fired.

I'm in favor of firing anyone who refuses to do their job. Don't want to dispense birth control pills or work Sunday mornings? You're Fired!

    Hiding behind your religion sucks.

I don't know if its in the video, but the protestor defecated on that smoldering flag... There are pics online, although the one I was going to link to was removed because of copyright issues. Come try that **** in Texas is all I'm saying. Even the Mexicans would kick their ass.

You are aware that the Old Testament of the Bible allows a husband to stone his wife foe various offenses?

The problem with this is not the Quran, but the idiot German judge.

They don't want any special rights. They want to practice their religion. My uncle was fired by Walgreens because he refused to fill prescriptions for birth control because its against Catholicism. I can't buy beer on Sunday in Georgia because of stupid blue laws which are based on Baptist theology. I have also had cashiers refuse to ring my alcohol during the week and tell me I need to find the Lord. I bet you would be up in arms if thes folks were fired or reasigned. If you don't like freedom of religion and the protection it affords move somewhere that doesn't have it.

The Muslims importing the Khat are breaking the law, and will be tried. The linked article left that part out.

And who cares if these people assimilate or not. If they live here, become citizens, and abide by the law they are as American as you or I.
