Found a good place in Arlington, VA, for muffalettas and Louisiana cooking. It's called Bayou Bakery, run by a guy from New Orleans. A weekend stop and you're sure to find some folks in LSU garb. :geauxtige
Is it anywhere near the big downtown Arlington hotels? Thats where I usually stay for DC meetings. I usually tend to find some crab cakes when in the Chesapeake area, but a place to grab a muff and some gumbo would be good to know.
