Found a good place in Arlington, VA, for muffalettas and Louisiana cooking. It's called Bayou Bakery, run by a guy from New Orleans. A weekend stop and you're sure to find some folks in LSU garb.

Is it anywhere near the big downtown Arlington hotels? Thats where I usually stay for DC meetings. I usually tend to find some crab cakes when in the Chesapeake area, but a place to grab a muff and some gumbo would be good to know.

It's located in the Courthouse section of Arlington, not all that far from Roslyn. Do you stay in the Crystal City area (I assume that's what you are referring to with the hotels)? In any case, it is easily accessible via Metro.

    Here's the link: Bayou Bakery.

Right off the Metro. Just what I wanted to hear.
