he was speaking to a group of muslims that had protested a cartoon. these folks that protest cartoons, these are the worst sort of people. they demand that everyone else have an absurd amount of respect for aomething they dont believe in and dont have to respect at all. cartoons, while kinda goofy, are an important part of political/free speech. if you protest them or "raise awareness" about how it is wrong to portray mohammed as a terrorist, then you should be mocked, and this professor has done a mighty fine job of it. you are aware that muslims all over the world have acted like murderous lunatics, and they have rioted and been extremely violent over cartoons in the past, right? just because you are liberal, that doesnt mean you have to defend everything on the liberal protected list, dude. just accept that religion is terrible and go from there.
yes. and protesting the cartoon is stupid. he should have called them stupid. so i dont think religion is terrible. just a crutch, and in that way, somewhat pathetic. but its not terrible because it doesnt cause all the bad crap done in its name. without it, that stuff would be done, but in the name of Dixie, or the Pittsburgh Penguins, or heterosexuality.

true, he didnt just call out the free speech haters. he threw in something extra for slave traders. i thought you meant he was criticizing peaceful muslims and grouping them all together, but you are not happy about him calling out slave traders in addition to free speech haters? big fan of slave traders and dont want to hear a negative word sent their way? yunno the slave trade is a huge global problem. i would argue bigger than that 90% of the crap we think is a problem. this guy writing this letter should be considered your hero.
So he got pissed off and sent an email. What's the big deal? I'm sure you could probably dig up some of my old emails that would piss people off way more than this has. People need to worry about themselves instead of everyone else.
