Hawthorne said Addai had a hip pointer in the first half.

Someone on the radio said Carey may have a serious injury. It involves his MCL and will require further diagnosis in Baton Rouge.

Heard Jack Hunt was on crutches.

Does anyone have more information about these injuries or any injuries I failed to mention?

Addai returned in the 2nd half...

Hunt was still playing well into the 2nd half...

Carey's injury is probably the worst of all--looked pretty painful when it happened. Could be out for a while if it's indeed serious. But, Vincent's performance takes the pressure off.

Definately, the bye week will help. Over-all, injury-wise, we've remained in really good shape so far this season.

Perhaps, after this game, outside of Carey, we're fortunate to have not had any really key player go down. Sure, Amp Hill was a loss--but at least it happened before the season started--and we've had to make do without his services...

In the event that Carey is out for awhile, even though it's a pretty big hit to our offense, at least we KNOW we have more than capable backups--specifically with Justin Vincent. And, if that's the case, perhaps Addai may get a confidence boost (since he would know he wouldn't be splitting the time) and play like the dominant runner that we all projected he would be.

    Hunt

Jack Hunt was on crutches at the end of the game not on the playing field.

Short of anything being torn I see those guys being ready for Florida. Most of those guys probably won't have contact at practice this week. Hunt seems to have the character that if he is physically able to play he will be out there leading the defense. We have great depth at tailback but it would be great to have Carey, him and Addai are a great one-two punch. Throw in Vincient and Edwards, we have a pretty solid corp of backs where we can have fresh bodies in there at all times.

they said on tv last night carey passed the test for his ACL, meaning no tear, but they fear he may have a MCL sprain.

time will tell, should know after an MRI monday or Tuesday
