Hate to say it, but that might be the best thing to do. Baton Rouge is rapidly becoming the staging area for rescue, recovery and relief aid. I won't be surprised to see some sort of tent city created in this area for all the evacuees. That would give us until Sept 24 to get a handle on this situation...
What is going to happen to the people with tickets to the game who can not go out to Zona? Such as seson ticket holders, or people who have already purchased single game seats, will they be refunded, or just SOL?
Save that ticket for when ASU visits in 2008? lol I'm sure they'll work something out should the game be moved.
Looks like pure speculation on ASUs part to me at this time. Will folks currently staged at LSU be part of the mass move of people to the Astrodome in Houston? Makes a ton of sense as the Astrodome is (a) huge and (b) currently unused.
we will not call off and ruin our whole season for this... They will work something out to make us play at home next week
I think they are just talking about people from New Orleans and the Dome being evacuated to Houston right now. I guess it depends on how many people they evacuate from New Orleans before they consider letting other evacuees head to the AstroDome. The CajunDome in Lafayette is also being used as a shelter. LSU is being used more as a special needs shelter and a triage center.
what happened sucks, and there is nothing we can do... but at some point we have to see light at the end of the tunnel and move on. It is great to help, but we can still have recreational activities WHILE helping out. One thing that helps ALL people get out of tragedy is an outside influence to take them away, and if Louisiana just shuts down everything until this is all finished, we will all collectively go crazy
