Has anyone here ever eaten them. I actually once saw a man bring an ice chest to a cow pen and save them as we were castrating his calves. I never have and don't care to.
I'm a very picky eater as it is, so I can't see myself ever indulging on animal balls. Or any balls for that matter.
Instead of smoked meats (sausage\brisket\turkey) I could send you guys calf fries for your tailgate this year! You could cook 'em and give them to the opposing teams fans and tell it it is gator meat.:thumb:
Anyone ever stop and think of all the misleading names of foods? Here are a few that come to mind: Hamburgers are not really made of ham. Chicken Fried Steak- not made of chicken Buffalo Wings -contain chicken, not buffalo Hot Dogs - meat, but not dog meat Grape-Nuts — Cereal contains neither grapes nor nuts Bombay Duck - Is not duck at all, but dried fish. German Chocolate Cake is not a German torte but a wholly American layer cake.
For Chicken Fried Steak I think the chicken part is refering the way that they cook it. It is a chicken fried STEAK. But what do I know?!
i had them when i was little before i knew what they were. i dont remember disliking them, but i dont remember anything special. to me they were just another fried food.
I don't care how good they might taste. If I ate one, I would vomit immediately. It is not natural to have balls in your mouth.
