Ok, so half way through the season, and the Love for a few has finally surfaced:

    Lee
    Ware
    Ford
    RR
    OD
    HB7
    Sam
    MO
    Reid

All have been shown national attention and recognition

Who do you guys think is flying under the national radar at this point the most but is going to continue on the next 2 season to become an LSU great? - Both sides of the ball?

    I Personally think:

    Bennie Logan
    &
    Alfred Blue

Both Go Pro, Both Have HUGE Junior & Senior Seasons

    How about you guys?

Person who has played at a very high level not getting a lot of attention is SS Brandon Taylor.

He's been everywhere but obviously overshadowed by the Honey Badger.

That would be my vote on defense. Agree about Logan, he is NFL bound.

On offense, none other than Jarrett Lee. A lot of people outside of the LSU fan base still discounting him to a large extent. But all he has done is make the plays when asked. One play action fake after another. Mississippi State "put away" drive, WVU 3rd and 1 sneak attack TD pass to Beckham. Florida "bombs away" play action to Randle. Time and time again, he proves himself.

After the UF game last weekend, I am much more locked in on Lee and his improvements. After UK I was still a bit concerned, but now, regardless how Lee "Finishes" (CLM's favorite Word) I will never say that he didn’t improve and he didn’t answer the bell.

Logan is actually small for the DT, but that kid is a playmaker with a VERY bright future.

I think that Blue is running with more & more confidence every carry. I see him as a very possible Mark Ingram Trent Rich, but he won’t get the same amount of carries those 2 did to produce the yardage.

    Anthony Johnson

He will be wreaking havoc in our opponents' backfields for the next 3 years.

    Thats a Definite!

What do you guys think about Muncie?

Could he become another Cutrera/Riley type LB?

OH, Minter! He very well be our #1 LB next year

But I also agree with the others, there are really too many to pick just 1.

I fully agree with you on Alfred Blue. I believe he has the best vision, in terms of reading the gaps, among our tailbacks.

Minter will definitely be the leader of this LB corps and predict big things from him.

I would go with Stampley. He's not underrated to us, but I think he is to outsiders.

Blue on offense for me. Lately, Blue reminds me of Jo Addai a little bit and all he does is what ever is asked of him. He's a true team player.

Defensively, I'd have to say Brandon Taylor, Logan and possibly Simon.

Seems like he's been playing in lieu of Hatcher a lot lately. Definitely a good thing. Didn't he even start vs UK?
