  1. If you go to www.lesmiles.net and look at his bio, you will see that he has a son named Leslie Matthew Miles.

I'm now thinking that the son is Leslie Miles Jr.
  2. I tend to judge when I respond to posts along this line...if it is worth responding to, I do. If it's just an attempt to bait, or talk a little smack, it isn't worth my time. Yes, it wasn't.

  3. no attempt to bait or talk smack. you seem staight up, I just was wondering if you thought that was a little cowardly, the way he left miami without telling the team or the asst. coaches, who he demands so much loayalty and sacrifice from to their faces, or if you were going to just drink the saban kool aid just because he's the bama coach.
  4. Me too...I waved but you didn't wave back. I'm crushed.

I have the same issue with Saban talk as I do with the USC threads. When will it end?

  5. I dont see where all you people who say we shouldnt talk about Saban or post this we shouldnt talk about Saban crap.

If you dont want to talk about him then stay off the thread. It is that simple.

This is a voluntary thing no one is forcing you.

And it is a discussion board.

I am using the force to cripple the Saban intellect.

By the time the season comes he wont be a ble to spell cat if you gave him the C and the T.

And the great thing is with it being Bama no one will notice !!!!

    :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
  6. How Saban handles his business is his "business". He's the one paying the consequences for his actions or lack there of not me nor the University of Alabama. Saban has said over and over since the entire Miami ordeal that he did not handle that situation right. He admitted the mistake and that basically he was wrong. Did he go back and apologize to them face to face or even via phone calls? I seriously doubt it. Saban is Saban and you take the good with the bad. There is no perfect coach (other than Coach Bryant ;)) and the majority of these coaches aren't choir boys other than Mark Richt and he's a rare commodity.

Some coach's vices are more public than others simply due to the notority of the school they are coaching and differing personality types. Other high name coaches have lied straight through their teeth over and over and over, to the exact same degree Saban has and haven't been crucified like him. Combine your hate for Saban with your natural distain and hatred of Bama , and you'll continue to magnify Saban's situation more than others (though other coaches have done the same thing) and use that to support your opinion that Bama sucks and will never mount to crap.

Saban is a self oriented person no doubt. We Bama fans realize that but the majority of high profile coaches (highschool, college & pros) look after "self" first then the team. Saban isn't the only one practicing this behavior. But he sure is being portrayed like that....
  7. Link?
  8. I'm not doing the homework. If you want to know bad enough you'll use the search engines. I've heard him say in interviews and read in articles that he mishandled the situation. It doesn't bother me whether he's apologized or not. He is what he is, good and the bad. But he dang sure isn't in a club by himself.

There's alot of "Saban's" in the "pinebox" of college football....
  9. You Bammers seem to do this a lot. You made the statement, you back it up. Until you can provide factual evidence to support your claim, I'm just going to assume you made it up.

And weak attempt to take a stab at Tuberville.
  10. Okay, so you just described Larry Brown. Odds are Saban will not deliver that NC you so crave. I don't even see him winning the West for that matter. He has to get through LSU and Auburn, not to mention win against Tennessee and Arkansas.
