i don't think she was talking about the jaws song but the "go gaytors song". maybe i'm wrong. maybe i'm a star wars nerd but i like the imperial march. the band played it for a short time in the 90's on defense and i was ticked they stopped. they also played the superman theme after a great offensive play. i miss both of those.
I can't believe I made it this deep into the thread and NOBODY has added this one. GROWN MEN DRESSED AS LEPRECHAUNS. This is not only annoying, but seems a bit pedophilic. Add a sign that says "free candy" around his neck and you have a 3 hour Law & Order SVU mini series. I'd also like to add, mascots that are not plural: (Cardinal, Green Wave) On that note, dumb mascots, such as a tree, or a Blue Hen. Why would you name your school mascot a female chicken Deleware?
I was talking about the "go gators song". It's annoying. It's annoying because everyone (Bama, AU, Fla) plays it. Everone except GBFTL! Yea! I dont know why they play Jaws either. I mean, yea I do because of the whole chomp/teeth/bite thing, but it's still out of place. I'll give it to them that it's kinda cool that they do the chomp thing in sync to the song. But, like LSU during the pregame march, it gets out of sync when 90,000+ fans do it. The Imperal March (Wrong to call it the death march, I was- my best attempt to talk Star wars)- again, everyone plays it. I'll add to the list the freaking cowbells. I was elated that State won, but enough with the bells! Also, gone but not forgotten, the Chief Illini guy. Man he sucked. We laughed our heads off at the Sugar Bowl that year because of him. Mike= bad azz killing machine, Chief Illini= Broadway dancer.
You have obviously never been to Delaware. I agree that those mascots are a bit annoying, though. Also,if Brent Musberger ever calls another night game in Tiger Stadium, I will drive to LSU, find him and slap him HARD for every time he says, "Louisiana Saturday Night".
Well Hell! If you are going to do oall that you might as well just come to the game and then you wouldn't have to hear him anyway!

I hate the "OVERRATED" chant. I've always felt that it minimizes the accomplishment of winning against that team.
