I recently moved close to Fort Polk. I've been here a few months. I haven't felt a mosquito yet, lucky me. My hope is that it stays this way forever !

How are the mosquitos in your area right now?

It has been very dry in BR. No pools for mosquitos.

Count your blessings. I can see swamp from my driveway, and that stuff never dries up. Morgan City has to mosquito spray almost year round, and generally pays for aerial spraying about 6 times during the summer.

Played tennis out at Highland after a weekend rain a few weeks ago. I think with every swing of the racquet, I killed 10.

    NONE here.

If they come out I have some Permethrin that I'll spray. It's money, there will be none where you spray, period.

I ate some crawfish the other day and they picked my son up and flew off with him. I was fighting them off so often, that I ended up with cayenne all in my eyes and all over my scalp and sh*t.

I hate mosquitos. I wish Noah would have left them sumbitches off of the arc.

mosquitos havent kicked in yet, but they will after the rain we finally had after a two month drought.

however, i think the poison ivy is flourishing.
