    Personally, I would have come to school waving an American flag, but that's just because I enjoy pushing my limits.

    I don't understand what the problem is. I basically said that the flag itself wasn't a sign of hatred, but that it was being used for it...

    It was BS that they originally banned the American flag & not the Mexican one. And if the American flag is being used to advance hatred against a group of people, it should be able to banned temporarily until the situation passes over.

    Just because they are mexican doesn't mean they are non-citizens... or are you just referring to the small percentage that aren't?

    The school is 41% hispanic. That's huge! Isn't Louisiana still something like 4% hispanic?
