Wil they ever learn to shut their mouth. Give me a freaking break. They are 7-2 and were blown out by Oklahoma for the 4th straight year. What was the score, o say 65-13. Plus do I mention the loss to Arkansas, the same Arkansas that in now 2-3 in the SEC West. One more thing I guess they don't know how to find these important stats. LSU Defense- 4th in Total Defense, 2nd in Rushing Defense and 1st in Scoring Defense giving up only 86 points in 9 games.
I would love to see us play texas in a BCS bowl if possible. We would probably win by 20+ points and I'm sure it would be great for recruiting. That revenge thing is always nice too.
I'd like to play 'em again this year and watch Corey Webster and company shut down Roy Brown. What about LSU's "slew of widereceivers" ? I know the Aggies will beat Texas, however, if Texas should manage a miracle and win out would they play OK in the Big 12 Championship game and be blown out again ? I don't follow the Big 12 enough to know.

The Texas fans are dellusional if they think the team we're fielding in '03 is like the '02 squad. Also, their '03 team isn't nearly as prolific as the '02 Longhorns. Forget Texas A & M. Don't the Horns still have to play OSU and Texas Tech? There's at least one more loss there. On the Inside Texas board, they were hoping last week to, at least, make the Cotton Bowl again. They beat a mediocre Nebraska team, and now are masters of the universe again. Please.
Reading some stuff on the longhorn board. I'm really glad we are getting to the point where LSU is passing up the Longhorns as far as prestige, it's going to be fun to be the best team in the area for a while. I hate being around all the horns fans in Houston but I didn't really see anything dissing LSU much in that thread, although I didn't go to the 2nd page. Most of them realize our team is vastly improved and didn't want to face us again. I was a little depressed after the Florida game like everyone else but that smack down Texas took from Oklahoma the same week eased the pain a little. Vince Young is going to be a stud before he's through. I don't even think Mack Brown can screw him up. Maybe Mack won't be around to get the chance.
