In his latest article on TSN, Tom Dienhart mentions problems for our beloved former coach... "It hasn't been a great offseason for Indiana coach Gerry DiNardo. First, star freshman LB John Kerr announced he will transfer. Speculation is he'll land at Notre Dame. QB Allen Webb also is leaving. He sat out last year as a redshirt, and word is he will transfer to Kansas State to be closer to his home in Colorado. With both of last season's starting quarterbacks -- Tommy Jones and Gibran Hamdan -- gone, Webb would have competed for the starting job with Notre Dame transfer Matt LoVecchio." Think about it. Dinardo would've been Notre Dame's next coach if he could have sustained his success at LSU for two more years. Now he's coaching the second-worst program in the Big Ten (see Northwestern).
What do you think would happen if LSU played Indiana and Dinardo came back to Tiger Stadium. Man that would be fun.
