preaching to a person who directs his own choir... but there are really people out there who dislike the ole hat, aside from this dude... but yeah... you preaching to the wrong dude... Lord knows I know how that all works. lol
They dont know what they are talking about. They saw him make the retarded move to call a timeout, but they also didnt see him in practice where it all comes together. If they were all of the sudden appointed to a college AD position and there was a fantasy draft for coaches he would be taken early and those hypocritical people would stfu. They just argue because they want to. Look at all the relevant teams...all of them are picked on because their fans are able to celebrate and others are not. It is natural for someone to have a stupid comeback to someone that cant be put down.
Does it help to point out that this article is from a staff writer for the newspaper in Montgomery, Alabama? You have to admit that we LSU people are pretty straightforward when it comes to pointing out the reality that Alabama people are a bunch of mongoloid retards -- and for an Alabama person, that has to be very frustrating... so it's not that surprising to see some writer for an Alabama newspaper try to pretend that there is actually someone associated with LSU that is as mentally challenged as the people of Alabama. P.S. Alabama athletics = the Special Olympics (Disclaimer: Seriously, we should all pray long and hard for the people of Alabama. Down syndrome is a serious matter)
I just emailed him and asked him what he was high on when he wrote that article. 5 coaches have won the big one and none of them are numero uno. I told him not to be getting his hopes up for SI or ESPN. douchemonger
Josh (not his real name, btw) may have been compensated for his article from this newspaper but I would not call him a staff writer. Heck, he's written articles for the LSU Rivals site as well. FWIW, if you listen to Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio Josh is the guy Colin referred to as "Compass." He's never let it be a secret that his team is the Tigers...but not the ones in Louisiana.
So how does this whole anti-Alabama thing work from the eyes of an Auburn fan? You can't dog the state of Alabama, being that Auburn fans are Alabama people, right? Is there some sort of geographic region of Alabama that sides with Alabama and another region of Alabama that sides with Auburn? Or is it pretty much that every trailer park tends to have overall equal amounts of Alabama and Auburn "signs" spray-painted on their trailers?
Help me out here guys, but what was the boneheaded call that Richt made at Ga. that cost them a game in his first year? I can't remember, but it was pretty bad.
Oh yeah, as far as this guy, he's a tool. But why is it that Miles and LSU critics always point out how we could have lost 4 games last year, but never admit that we also were 2 plays away from being undefeated? Can't have it both ways.
If you read this guy closely, you will see similiarities to our ol' "friend," Guilbeau. It may be that this "big time" wannabe is actually being mentored by the Great Arse, himself. He is off on a good start to infamy. You have to give it to him though - this is BS at its best. Thank God games are won and lost on the field and not in Montgomery newspapers. I hope that BS sells newspapers in Alabama, because it sure got me fired up this AM, and didn't cost me a cent. :cuss: OK - back to work.
Everyone can keep on thinking that Coach Miles isn't smart, but that's actually something that he uses to his (and our) advantage. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Les Miles is crazy like a fox. He's way smarter than anyone is willing to admit, yet. Give him some more time making LSU the premier team in college football (and we should all feel pretty comfortable that he's our man for a long while at this point), and people will start to realize the truth about our d$%n strong coach. For goodness sake, as recently as last year (and much more specifically, prior to Saban's defecting to the Crimson Tide), one could've perused this very board and seen much of the same sentiment written about Coach Miles. Eventually, many of the fans have come around (though I know some still haven't), and something similar will happen soon with other fanbases.
