Butch Pierre met with Tubby Smith last week while Tubby was in town meeting Tasmin Mitchell and has offered Pierre a job as an assistant coach at Kentucky. Pierre is now mulling over the prospects of being an assistant coach at Kentucky or head coach at ULL. The prospects of Pierre being at LSU for more than 3 more weeks is very bleak as he and Brady are not communicating. Also Tack Minor is on the verge of transfering to another university at the end of this semester. Don't know which schools but have heard that he is contacting head coaches too see if they are interested and if they have an open scholarship for 05.
Jesus Christ, if all of this happens and Brady stays here, I won't go to one damn game next season. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Go read Scarborough's site Scarborough's Tigerbait has had several threads on this subject. I am sure that you can compare those folks and their posts with this post and quickly figure out that there is a lot here.
Rumors or not, this is getting increasingly painful by the day - wasn't the damn regular season awful enough? It's hard to imagine that we are staring this in the face. We can all launch into a 25 page thread about how much we love or hate Brady, but this is simply becoming depressing - rumors or not... :cuss:
I am getting more depressed thinking about this so I am going to respond to my own post: Dear BB, These are just silly rumors. Your desire to see LSU Basketball rise from the ashes is not unrealistic. You will see Brandon Bass refine his game at the PMAC next season. You will go along for the ride as Big Baby captivates the nation with his size and ability in the paint. Rest assured that you will see Minor develop into one of the finest point guards to ever wear the purple and gold. Whipple's game will no longer be suspect. Fear not - these are just silly rumors... The whole Kentucky thing has been talked about on Jimmy Ott's show for a few months now. It isn't a new rumor.
Our basketball program at LSU is becoming embarrasing: Players opting for the NBA, players not qualifying, players quiting, players looking to transfer, players fighting.....who's all to blame, who's all ultimately responsible? I can't remember anytime in LSU's history, where any of our atheletics took a dive like this. Brady must go!
