Gabriel Ash pops several blood vessels with this anti-Bush, anti-American screed. The raw, seething hatred bleeds forth from every word.

What could be treasonous about a column condemning Bush and his steel tariffs?

Read the last paragraph and see what he thinks about OUR soldiers trying to make Iraq safe and OUR civilians trying to rebuild the country.

Well, the last part is accurate - the part about slimeballs government contractors. Nothing treasonous about that part - it's patriotic - Bechtel and Halliburton have suckled on the taxpayers long enough - how many more billions will these pieces of dung take from the wallets of the $10 an hour worker? Every last nickle they can.

    It's time for bids
    It's time for audits.

But the neo-confederates and chickenhawks in office will have none of it.

The neo-confederates will hound a doctor for a dime, threaten to put an admissions clerk into the clink for a clerical error on a Medicare claim that may cost the government $200 - but when someone suggests giving the least bit of scrutiny to a multi-milliondollar sweetheart deals, out comes chicken hawk and neo-confederate extraordinaire Dick Cheney out of his bunker to tell us that it is unpatriotic to audit his campaign contributors.

The party of North, Poindexter (and pardoning the traitors), arming the ayatollah, hussein and the taliban, shouldn't be calling anyone a traitor

When did we arm the ayatollah (and which one) and the Taliban?

To my knowledge, the GOP has never sold weapons to the Taliban.

A few Afghans who fought the Soviets went on to be involved with the Taliban. But the Taliban did not even exist during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. The Taliban was purely a creation of Pakistani intelligence in 1994 so that they could make a de-facto colony of Afghanistan.

The part about the ayatollahs was a reference to Iran-Contra, I assume.

But whatever some GOP operatives may have done in the '80s to pacify Iranian/Hezbollah terror doesn't excuse Ash openly advocating the killing of U.S. soldiers and civilians in Iraq, who are honestly trying to build a better life and future for the Iraqi people.

Yet more proof that the Left has gone insane; Mark Gery at the Middle East Times says victims of Saddam Hussein's genocide got what they deserved and that the Bush Administration is exaggerating claims of Hussein's crimes against humanity for political gain.

Truth is, the brutality of the Hussein regime needs no exaggeration or White House spin. It speaks for itself.

Caution, some of these images are not for those with weak constitutions. You have been warned.

The radical Left is so morally bankrupt, anyone who opposes Bush is a hero, even those with a few million skeletons in their closet.
