The sane Tennessee fans have to be seriously concerned. I mean, what's next? Is Kiffen really a proper image for a great state university?

So when is this doo doo going to hit the fan, or was it overshadowed by the "show me your man boobs" spectacle?

Kiffen really needs to keep the UT brand Up front and out there!!

It may not hit the public airwaves but its probably already going on inside the program. Kiffin fired all the grad assistants. A couple of those grad assistants were ex-players and part of the hatchet job. They had devoted their entire college playing career and post college life to the program and got rewarded with a kick out the door. This has ruffled some feathers in the big donor circles. One prominent donor was overheard telling the AD he was "fed up with it". That was before the boob show. Cant imagine what that guy is thinking now.

Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin denied telling a recruit that he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life, like everyone who played for South Carolina, if he attended that school, ESPN reported Tuesday.
"I never said that to Alshon, nor would I say anything like that," Kiffin said, ESPN reported. "That's just not something I would say."

"That's not the way we're going to do things here, and it's something I don't condone," Kiffin said, ESPN reported. "Things get said all the time in recruiting, but I don't know where (the pumping gas comment) came from."

[IMG] You never know what will come out of the mouth of Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin.
This post yesterday talked about Kiffin not caring about negative publicity because it put the Vols on the front page.
    But this is a favorite.
Evidently in the wee hours of recruiting wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey, Kiffin told him that if he signed with South Carolina (he did) he would end up pumping gas just like every other in-state player who ended up with the Gamecocks. (Photo by Justin Sullivan, Getty Images)
