Education for Tigereducated http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/valueboard.htm http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/positions/de.html So, there are two draft sites recommended by the NFLPA, and they have Pollack as a first rounder. He lights it up last year, so you have an excuse, he lights it up so far this year, and you have an excuse. The only thing we haven't heard from you is an excuse as to his excellent play at DT as a 260 lbs. true freshman. If you were really educated about UGA football (I don't expect you to be, and you are not), you would know that it was Sullivan who benefitted from playing next to Pollack. Sully didn't make many plays until last year, and his game improved drastically as the year progressed. That was because teams were having to account for Pollack. You sound exactly like the SC and Clemson fans before you.
ouch, te! but, when pollack meets steltz (sp?) this weekend, most won't be singing the tune that he's all-world. (edited by mod)
2nd Semester for you Pollack plays the "Buck" DE position for us. That is on the strong side. Sullivan mostly played the defensive tackle position, as opposed to "nose" in our scheme. DT is on the weak side. When you say they played right next to each other, that isn't really accurate. Again, I don't expect an opposing fan to know this, but I would expect a serious person to refrain from talking too long on a subject about which he knows very little.
'Nooga.... You waste your time on that one, he is hopeless, kinda like rolo. Good thing is 99% of the posters here appear to know their ball talk!
So, Sullivan "parlayed" his underwhelming talent into a first round draft pick by the Saints? Which means, if he was more talented besides Pollack, without him, he'd be exposed? I wonder...why is he STARTING, and why did New Orleans RELEASE a pro-bowl run stuffer like Norman Hand, who signed for DA BIG BUCKS in Starbucks...err....Seattle? The bottom line is that he hasn't played against a competent opponent with a competent offensive line yet this year. When he does, and that when will come Saturday, he will be exposed. Up until this point, he has benfitted from-in my opinion-a talented teammate who was able to take the heat off of him, and inferior talent (this year)... Sorry you disagree, and I acknowledge that you keep up with Jawja Gridiron scoop way better than I do...but I'm telling you, the proof can't come in your "talk". It comes in the pudding my man, and Pollack will proven to be a big PUDDIN on Saturday... Go you Hairy Dawgs!
Trust me Dawgs, TE is a newbie, kind of rude to visitors, and not representative of the regulars here. I hope SECChampions2003 is not representative of yours, what a nimrod!
Well, I'm an LSU fan, and I've got an opinion, and I'm entitled to it... Please excuse my treatment of newbies...The former forum I was a closed one, and we haven't had any opposing teams fan's there in a while...
I don't necessarily agree with TE but I find he backs up his points very well. No offense Red but he's not in the class of SECC03 IMHO.
