Anyone know what's the record for most errors by a SS in a single season?

Julio phuckin' Lugo has 10 through 34 games. That's a hell of a pace he's on. What are the odds of him getting deported?

    AL -- John Gochnaur Cleveland--98--1903

    NL -- Joe Sullivan -- Washington -- 106 -- 1893

    PL -- Billy Shindle -- Philadelphia -- 119 -- 1890

had some bad fielding back in the day I suppose.

the best fielding ss in the nl the last 5 years is now on minnesota's bench? adam everett.

just move lowrie to ss and be done with it. kid is underrated anyhow.

sox have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft this year. the rich get richer.

    Holy Chit!!!
I never would have guessed it would have been that high. Julio can't even phuck up right!

    Put ME in at SS.
I'm pretty sure I could lead the Major's in errors, and kill rallies by striking-out or hitting into Double Plays. Oh, but he's a threat on the base paths (IF he gets on). I hope he breaks his hip.

Lowrie will be a good one, I think it's saying something that he hasn't been sent back down yet since Loweel came back.

    Nothing wrong with that.

plus he only has 4 stolen bases. 2 less than 280 lb lance berkman.

its time for coco to get some pt so they can get an offer and ship him out immediately now ellsbury has established himself.

big fat bartolo colon is working his way back again.

i never liked lester but i do see some signs he can hang around as a 5th starter. if only he walked fewer. his stuff is a bit better than i thought.

they surely cant send down bucholz or would be dumb to do so.

So far, Coco and Jacoby have gotten nearly identical playing time.
Coco has 19 starts, and Jacoby 18.

Coco has the higher BA right now (but not a huge difference), but Jacoby has better numbers everywhere else. Maybe when they trade away Coco, the cab he rides off in will run over Lugo's legs.

I wonder if we can arrange for him to have an "accident" some kind of way.

Seriously, if they're going to start a SS that can't hit, they could have kept Alex Gonzalez around. That dude didn't commit 10 errors for the entire SEASON he was there.

hasnt ellsbury started the majority of games of late? seems that way.

also, quit bitching about ss. when hanley is manning the position next year it will be a disgusting sight for anyone outside of bahstun. and you.

He hasn't started back to back games since Coco came back from his hammy strain.

well yeah thats what i figured you meant. i meant just starting him more (anywhere) and sitting coco. didnt realize they were doing the right thing by advertising coco out there in cf with hopes of tempting a buyer. smart though. hard to trade someone as a legit player when hes riding your pine.

cubs still not interested? reed johnson cant play well the rest of the way, can he. felix pie cannot hit major league pitching. he should be in triple a for life

word was that the sox were not letting coco go cheap since they really wanted him in case ellsbury failed to develop quickly but after the slow start hes turned it on.

safe enough to let coco go cheap yet? better to get something before he becomes barry bonds in the clubhouse (quite a reach I know).
