A Missouri state senator said in a now-deleted Facebook post that she hopes President Donald Trump is assassinated. Maria Chappelle-Nadal acknowledged on Thursday that she wrote a post which read: “I hope Trump is assassinated!” She made the comment in an exchange with a left-wing activist who claimed that his cousin is a Secret Service agent..... Chappelle-Nadal confirmed to a reporter with St. Louis TV station KMOX that she posted the comment. “I put something up on my personal Facebook page and it has now been deleted,” she said. State and national politicians called on Chappelle-Nadal to resign over the remarks, but she says she has no plans to do so....."Hell no!” she said when asked by a reporter if she will quit her position. Amazing really that an elected official can hope for the President's assassination and then refuses to resign. A woman from CA called for the same for Obama and got fired from her ice cream job.
I denounce it. She should resign immediately. Trump is the scum of the earth but calling for assassinations instead of political solutions is vile and unAmerican.
Who gives a phuck? I say she should stay put. Let her say what she feels. It's the person weak enough to be moved to action by it that we need to hammer.
You know the first 2 aren't going to do anything but be further emboldened by the notion now that they are victims of white people wearing khaki's and polo shirts....and they will get a pass and will continue to do so. They have the moral high ground based on Charlottesville, and the media will continue to fan the flames.
