I just heard Jordy Hultberg say that LSU is headed into a Hornet's nest on Thursday night....and I think that's a good analogy.

Emotional loss to Auburn. Their place. They are gonna be ready to rock.

    Let's do this.

Yeah, I was hoping they would have had an emotional win.

They lost their starting LT. That ain't gonna work out well for them on Thursday night.

I really see a thumping by LSU. Too much defense. Ballard will be stopped in his tracks.

Short week for them to bounce back from such an emotional game. I think it works in our favor.

I have the feeling that our Defense is the type that THRIVES on challenges. They will be coming out of their uniforms to tear up the Bulldogs Thursday night.

This weeks NW St. team was pretty weak offensively and although we started slow, they ended up holding them to -4 yards rushing. That hasn't been done since '82.

I can't wait for Thursday night!

Mullen 2-9 vs SEC West and those two game against Ole Miss. Don't see him getting his 3rd against us.

MSU is hurtin physically right now. The schedule, although brutal, works in our favor the way this sets up. We played most of our starters for a half against a weak opponent. They played a full 4 qtrs in a shootout, suffered some injuries, and lost a heartbreaker.

Following MSU, we have extra time to prepare for WVU. 3 ranked teams, all on the road in the first four games of the season. But there is a bright side the way it shakes out.

Don't get me wrong, LSU wins this game....but State is gonna play like it's their BCSNC game. Eventually (2nd half) LSU will prove to be too much for the Bulldogs.
