For those worried that Miles wants to run the ball too much or that he won't hire a quality OC - read this & feel better.

Crowton would be an excellent hire if CLM wants to get guys that "enjoy" passing the ball. But with that Williams kid (# 5) in the back field it would be hard for me not to let that cat run the ball A LOT. He's impressive.

Seeing as how Miles made a great choice in hiring Pellini, I have no doubt he'll do the same for the OC and OL jobs.

I like the sound of that. Miles will want to go down the field more. With all the talent at WR that will be the thing to do. Lets be honest here too, points is what impresses voters. Im really looking forward to next year, Miles is in the midst of something very special here at LSU. Hopefully he can keep the team focused through the SEC gauntlet then the hopeful SEC title game. LSU will be a lot less predictable under the new OC.

As far as us getting a great OC, I think we should. Les seems like a good man to work with, that's a plus. Then you have the TALENT that LSU has, which gives an OC an opportunity to really do something with it. Then there is the SEC, which means you'll play top teams often. To get promoted, you have to establish a reputation, and the do that, you have to succeed against top flight competition. We will offer someone that opportunity.

I think our job offers a lot to the right person. I think it's very attractive. You'll have Matt Flynn, Ryan Perrilloux, and Jarret Lee for QB's, a bevy of running backs, need to find a couple of receivers, but there is talent sitting there. How could you not want this job?
