http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=forde_pat&id=3062660&sportCat=ncf Appears Miles made it a point to stay after the melee and hype last night to meet Rich Brooks on the field and congratulate him on the win. You guys can say what you want about Miles as a gameday coach (up until yesterday it was not too much except not playing people here and there), but the guy is all class. I do not know of any other coach who would make it a point to personally meet the other coach after the game because he could not shake his hand due to the madness of the fans rushing the field.
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? After the Florida game I will not doubt him. Tell Michigan to go find someone else.
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? Lots of class. Zero championships. But of course I don't hate him. It'll take his best coaching effort to beat Auburn on Saturday. :tigerhead
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? i felt like i was reading a guilbeau post there with the backhanded compliments. but yes, none of what you said is false. hopefully, this will focus the tigers on those other tigers.
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? My goal from now until January is to follow you around and wait for each plate of crow you will have to eat. First one is next Saturday, next will be in December and the third will be in January. :helmet:
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? How will my saying Miles needs to coach exceptionally to beat Auburn result in my having to eat crow? I'm just saying LSU is in a bed predicament right now. Next week is going to be very tough. No crow.
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? That sounds like a shot you just took at CLM. Steve Spurrier is one of the most successful coaches in College Football. Aggressive and innovative. The man has won only one NC. CLM is in his 3rd year in at a high profile University. It's now harder then ever to win an NC, especially coming out of the SEC. Florida barely made it in last year and don't forget about us in 2003. We have a great coach and I don't think he even considers leaving until the job is done. It's near impossible to pull off, but I say he gets it done.
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? I totally agree, Lots of class but still has some things to prove. I got ripped last night because I questioned this coaching staff's decisions, especially what players to play and when. Follow me around until January. If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow. I have no problem standing up and admitting I'm wrong if it comes to that (and that would be a good thing anyway).
Re: Miles - how can you hate hime? Not a shot. Just a fact. I like Les, but he has won neither an SEC nor a National Championship. If he's going to win either of those things this year, he needs to make a lot of improvements. Quickly.
