I am not ready to anoint Miles as a great coach, but he is 10-1 and he appears to love being the coach of LSU. I sincerely hope that all of the bitching about how unimpressive this 10-1 season has been or how bad of a public speaker he appears to be doesn't make him think that he can never please LSU fans and consider moving on to another school. The comments by Beano on ESPN about Miles being the next coach at Michigan really made me think about how lucky LSU appears to have gotten in hiring Miles. He actually reminds me of Coker at Miami quite a bit and we all know he is a good coach. They both rarely show emotion, let the assistants do all the coaching, came into winning programs and last but not least wear hats. Barring an absolute blowout by UGA Saturday, I think that LSU fans should realize how good a job this staff has done this year. I am not saying that next year or in the upcoming years the program won't fall apart, but as long as he keeps recruiting well and hiring good assistants I believe that he is a good fit at LSU.

Well I didn't read the contents, because I didn't need anyone to explain the title to me... I already know he is doing a good job

Look, just because somebody questions calls or wonders about the use of timeouts by this staff doesn't mean they hate Miles or the team. People just need to relax and realize that they do not coach this team, are not related to Miles or Pellini and do not play for LSU. I mean there is a line that should not be crossed on a public forum.....in private with friends, hey call the guy a retard or Curley for short if you want.

I mean I sat there at the game and said when we were up 19-3 and had the ball and called 2 straight running plays then threw for nothing, how much this looked like going into a shell like Tenn. That's an observation. I'm not a coach but I don't have to be to know what I have seen and what I was seeing at that moment.

And I sit in the southendzone U19 every game and I was not alone. People were bitching the whole game. That's life and Miles or Saban or Archer have to live with it. Shula and Nutt have to live with the same thing at their respective schools.

I am proud of the team, Miles IMO has done a good enough job to be 10-1. We'll see what happens over the next 3 or so years just like we would do with Saban or we did with Hallman, Archer, Stovall etc etc.

Hey, and if Michigan wants him, there's plenty of coaches out there that can't manage a game and who try to call timeouts when we don't have to.

But Brady sucks Bigfoot's D!

Just finished watching replay of the Florida & Tennessee games ...

Miles was so "special" in that Tennessee game ... I just have this bloated feeling gnawing at my intestines like a ... ...

Beano ... http://www.beanogas.com/ ... He gives me real gas ... and what a magnificent source for an evaluation ... we might as well hang on Holtz' every word too. :dis: ... time for an EBM.
