Did anyone else here in Baton Rouge catch the 10pm sports on Channel 9? Miles was livid with the offensive lineman. To the point where he was blocking/demonstrating with all of his might, yelling as he pushed one of them back fiercely. Showing them how he wanted them to block.

It was something that was very promising to see!

How about that. Kinda reminds one of Saban. Good for him.

i've been told from A LOT of players that he was like that sometimes, but he didn't get that way too much last year, b/c:

    1. The storm- He felt wrong to yell and scream so much, when the players and their family didn't even have a home. He felt that football for the most part wasn't a 1st priority.

    2. It was his 1st year, and he was trying to get a feel for the job.

That all goes along completely with what I heard from his former OSU player (who I met in physical therapy a couple of weeks ago). He said that Coach Miles was a good coach, but anything but a nice guy on the practice field.

Now this is the Miles that most of us expected to get.

I do however understand and was EXTREMLY impressed with him last year, because I feel a lesser coach would have let the team go to hell in a handbasket after what happened.

It wasnt what we expected as Tiger Fans, but than again it is never good enough for us, but it was what the team needed.

I am more pumped up about the start of this season then I was at the start of 04 season.

Good for Miles, I happy to see him show some fire and also happy to see him giving the Oline some personal attention. I agree with some of the previous posters about the first season and storms as reasons we didn't see more clips like this last year.
