Well I just saw some of Miles thoughts on the game on both wafb and wbrz 6 o'clock news. From the pieces they chose to put on he is not taking any of the blame he is putting it all on the players. This disturbs me almost as much as the game last night.

Miles didn't fumble twice when we were about to score...

Miles didn't drop an INT (Pittman) that would have gone to the house

Miles didnt block in the back on all our punts

    Miles didn't drop passes

Miles didn't get blown off the line by UT's D-Line

But Miles did expect the Defense to play the entire second half alone and for the offense to punt the ball as far as possible.

He did make mistakes... I am not going to question that... He made HUGE mistakes...

But ultimately, had the players done a few more things right, we would have won

Funnt you should bring this up. At the spring game several people I was with saw mistakes being made on the punting team and nothing being said. It may come down to coaching on some ofthis stuff.

The players also didn't try to run on a whole fresh 11 w/ 13 seconeds remaining on the clock to kick a fg

the players also didn't try to call a timeout after they intercepted the ball. t

the players didn't chose to go back into playing the db's 10 yards off the line of scrimage and not blitzing and couning on the front 4 to apply pressure to the qb.

the players didn't chose want to run the ball up the middle every 1st and 2nd down of the second half and pass occasionaly on 3rd downs

The 2 fumbles were no doubt the players fault

LSU was called for what maybe one block in the back on punt returns

and how can you blame chase pittman a DE for not intercepting the ball in the flats and scoring he was there he made the play on the ball but just couldn't catch it every DE is not a Marcus Spears type of athlete

Saban used to dish out the blame on players...No one seemed to have a problem back then with it?

Isn't that true of almost all games except for blowouts? Every tight game has mistakes on both sides of the ball. Dropped passes, fumbles, interceptions, etc.

This game came down to coaching.

Since the first day I heard him he always sounded like a politician that didn't give straight answers. But worst of all, I hate his lackadaisical attitude. I feel it is rubbing off on the players and it shows.
