Re: ANYBODY seen our new Kitty? :tigbas: I read that the new Mike will be in a two week quaratine and then transition to his new home. He is s comng from an animal rescue facility in Indiana. Their address is http://www.greatcatsofindiana.org/ I live in Alabama and will be there for the Virginia Tech game with my wife. I assume that the are going to transition the New Mike slowly, so I guess he will not be made available too publicly for awhile. My love for LSU and the tradition lives on in each of us. I pray for a great season and after thirty years (I graduated in 1977), am finally proud for all of us of the respect and exposure our program has earned. My we all have another glorious season and celebrate in the joy of what it is to be a TIGER fan... :geauxtige

The Tiger is here in Baton Rouge but must be keep in the vet clinic until it is determined that he will adjust to campus life. A process that takes no less then 2 weeks. If they feel he will be able to make it, it will then be announced officially. Unveiling is to happen this fall. Personally I think the VT game is a fitting place for it. Although our lose is nowhere near what they went through BUT it is a representation of the circle of life. OR maybe they just want to let the Vick thing die down just so we can piss off more Peta people!
