Good. Maybe now the herd of journalistic cattle will stampede away from the non event that is the Rove-Libby grand jury.
The hits just keep on coming. Had Bush TOTALLY lost his mind? Had he become so distrustful of others (understandable, since he surrounded himself with snakes) that he only felt comfortable with this buttkissing sycophant? Did he not consider even for a moment that in the absence of any qualifying record she would be asked questions such as: - Why did you feel it necessary to cleanse Mr. Bush's National Guard record? - When you handed Bush the memo that said "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in USA" what did you witness Bush do to address that urgency? - When you told a reporter that Bush is the "most brilliant person you ever met" what exactly led you to that opinion? - Now that Mr. Bush has said your religion is one of your big qualifications, what role will Jesus play in your decision-making? I suspect Bush finally came to his senses and realized that he was setting himself up for a giant further embarrassment.
Did she jump? Or was she pushed? The Bush administration has LAME DUCK written all over it already. It's going to be a long three years.
I'm sure she was pushed, but what do you expect? Sometimes you just have to cut your losses. This is no reason for partisan gloating. The next nominee could be the greatest candidate in the world, but the Dems are still going to try and defeat the nomination.
This is TOO funny. You mean you don't trust the man you elected? You mean you actually admit he's a snake? (My apologies to real snakes)
The difference between you and Red is that Red has credibility. You would do just as well to stay out of these debates. You are a joke on this forum.
The difference between Red and me is that I'm more indignant of scum and can better cut to the quick. That angers you.
I don't know, they gave Roberts an easy ride. It depends on whether Bush now caves in to the far right and tries to nominate one of the radical conservatives like Janice Brown. The Democrats will fight that. But if he nominates another experienced judge without a clear neo-con record, they will grill her, but accept her.
I believe that losing Rush Limbaugh's support pushed Bush over the edge. :hihi: Don't make me do a poll.
