Does anyone know where I can find NCAA archived stats? Went to the NCAA web page, but they don't have stats past '99 I believe. Anyway, check this link to the MSU web page. It includes results from a couple of season's during which Saban was coach there ('95-'99). It appears (as I had recalled) that his defenses there gave up some BIG points to some schools, even after Saban had been there 2-3 years. By '99 his defense finished overall #12, but maybe the lack of talent as cited by Miles is a reason the OSU defenses were never able to be really good.
