This could effect our beloved Tigers either way. If Michigan wins and the Tigers hear the score before they take the field they will be sky high, but if Ohio State somehow pulls another one out of their ass and the Tigers see this before taking the field do you think it might bring their spirits down any?
They will not see the score before they take the field. If OSU wins, I'm sure they will anounce it at ole miss during the game to attempt to gain some sort of an edge. If Michigan wins, I don't think it will be announced in the stadium.
If Ohio State wins, the Ole Miss crowd will cheer. And I guarantee it will be the only thing they will have to cheer about all day.
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Put your faith and your bottom $ on the VEGAS lines. The Vegas Wise Guys have both LSU & Mich a TD favorite (75%). Michigan and LSU will BOTH COVER THE SPREAD.
Are there TV's in the visitor's locker room at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium? The OSU-Michigan game won't be over by the time the Tigers take the field for pre game warmups but it should be into the 4th quarter by that time. A lot of players listen to their favorite music on their Walkman type devices to get into the mood before a game and somebody could hear the score if they happen to flip it over to the radio. My prefered scenario would be for LSU to have to play the Arkansas and SECCG games knowing that they still have a shot at the Sugar Bowl NCG only if they continue to win. Since Saturday is OSU's last chance to lose because they don't have a Big 10 CG its of huge importance that Michigan beat them. LSU will not under any circumstances jump over OSU in the BCS if the Buckeyes win. An OSU loss followed by a USC win over UCLA would probably leave LSU as #3 in the BCS. UCLA plays their last regular season game against a pretty good Oregon State team on December 6th, the same day as the SECCG but it is a day game and the SECCG is a night game so we will know what happened before the SECCG game kicks off. What I would really like to see is for OSU to lose and for both LSU and USC to win out and for LSU to leapfrog USC in the BCS. That would put LSU in the Sugar Bowl for the NC while still giving USC a legitimate claim that they were screwed by the BCS. That would set up a big howl among USC supporters to do away with the BCS and have a real playoff, just as it would among LSU fans if LSU turns out to be the screwee. Another remote posibility is that LSU, OSU and USC all win out and Oklahoma loses in the Big 12 CG. I don't think OU will lose but this is college football so you never know. That would leave four one loss teams all with a legitimate claim to say they should be one of the two teams in the Sugar Bowl. For that scenario to work out in LSU's favor the Tigers would have to jump over USC in the BCS and hope that OU falls to at least #3. That would put LSU and OSU in the Sugar Bowl. I would prefer to see LSU play an Oklahoma team in the Sugar Bowl that all the media seems to think can't be beaten by any team less than the Kansas City Chiefs. Either way, beating the defending National Champions OSU or beating the seemingly unstoppable juggernaught Sooners would be great.
