    Don't even say its impossible. What if they made the Tiger look like that futuristic Oregon Duck Mascot.

    They could make a good logo out of this picture that looks like an actual photograph of a tiger. I copied it from BigSabanFan's sig file.

    I get the feeling that these marketing "brains" who came up with this horrible thing were thinking: "Now we don't want to make the tiger too ferocious. We want him (her?) to be more cute and cuddly. That will encourage mothers and children to buy the merchandise. And black is a hot color with the younger set..." That's what you get when you hire a New York (or wherever) marketing firm. FightinTiger is absolutely right: the big problem was hiring someone who knows NOTHING of the traditions and spirit of LSU.

    I may be in the minority but I don't have a big problem with the new logo. As for the tiger caricature on FightinTiger's avatar? It looks like he's chewing Red Man. I keep waiting for him to spit. For you older Tiger fans, doesn't he look like Snagglepuss?

    I guess I have gotten used to the new logo...it kinda grows on you! I thought the new floor in the PMAC looked pretty good.
