Man - I have watched LSU Football for many, many years - and with the exception of the late season successes of the Davey Reed era - I have never seen LSU play a more complete game than I did vs. Auburn this weekend. After the UGA game, I said I was not very impressed with LSU - and based on that game (and the ones that followed) I stick with that statement. . .but if you continue to play like you did vs. Auburn you guys are going to be a force to be reckoned with. I also mentioned on another thread on this site that as usual, I had no personal problems at BR with fans, but different then what I have seen in the past - I saw no other problems with LSU fans. Everyone I spoke with and encountred were just fantastic and I had a blast. So many congrats and good jobs from me . . . we'll be qualifying for the Houston Bowl
So what do we have to do to impress you? Kill somebody? Off topic, the funniest thing I read was a post in the WEN gameday thread. Some guy said "I don't want to overreact but if Tre Smith fumbles another punt I'm going to kill everybody." So, where the hell you been?
Chuck suggests that LSU is getting better every week (except for the Florida debacle). Does everyone agree that the team is improving weekly and, if so, how much better can they get in four more games?
yeah, I didn't word that well. I was meaning to say that I was VERY impressed with LSU vs. Auburn - as impressed with them as any team I have seen play all year. I didn't get back from Baton Rogue until late last night (blame that one on a hungover induced wrong direction on I 10 - in which we realized too late we were getting on I10 E just outside of Lafayette, and then next exit wasn't until half way over the swamp bridge) . . .and can't get on TF at work . .so this was my first chance to post. btw - that line about Tre Smith is very funny . .
you should have realized after not seeing signs to NO right away your not the first out-of-towner to do that, it happens
sad part is neither of us are out of towners. My brother went to LSU and we both grew up in New Orleans . .living in Houston we are always driving I10 to Destin, Mobile, New Orleans, LSU etc. . Just a matter of my brother thinking we didn't go under an overpass on our way to the Waffle House and not reading signs. I looked up too late to see the I10 East sign and by then we were screwed . .
