The guy sounds sincere to me(both guys do), but does he have any better chance achieving his stated goals than Obama does? Intentions are great but which guy can deliver? And at what cost?

I thought is was very good considering he isn't a teleprompter speech type of guy.

He is a town forum person. And now that more people recognize him, it should only help him.

This is going to be a longggggg race.

Going on two years? It's not a race, it's The Odyssey. I will enjoy Christmas more just because this campaign will finally be over.

First of all you have to acknowledge that they have different views and that will play a role.
Second of all McCain has proven over the years that he can work with the other side and at least, get some things done.
Oh yeah, Can someone please tell us what Obama has ever done?
    Anything of significance?

Maybe, but I always hear a lot of "I can, I will, etc, etc.

I thought it was the best speech he could deliver, if a bit long. His speeches usually don't deliver. Maybe the debates will show me more.

I fell asleep due to a week of pre and post Gustav manual labor. From what I've read/seen, the potential for bi-partisan accomplishment is his biggest positive. I can assure you that if the Democrats win the White House, all Republican people and ideas will be persona non grata. I think the self sufficient voters are going to realize that. Those who depend on the government to provide them with their daily needs won't.

you are smarter than this, i know you dont believe all people who vote democrat believe the government should supply daily needs, because I am an example to refute your clouded thinking.

Btw, do you have power and alot of damage? I forgot to ask, Im sorry about that.

I wasn't referring to all Democrats, just that segment of society that is government dependent. They will vote for the party of big government because it helps to maintain their own personal status quo (not to say that a Republican administration would abandon them), while working people would be more apt to agree that "country first" regardless of party affiliation is an appealing message.

I finally got power back yesterday afternoon and sustained no damage. Thanks for asking.
