Just want to get everyone's thoughts. I don't follow politics as much as i should, so i wanted to hear different views. I know some of you are politic junkies, i.e. Red, sourdough, etc.

    What say You?

I'm most likely voting for Obama because I think he'll handle foreign affairs better than McCain. McCain is pro-military force and I think he still believes Vietnam was a good idea. I think an Obama administration won't spend as much money on military overseas, I think he'll focus on Al-Qaeda, and I think he'll do a lot to mend foreign relationships. I think domestic issues with either will be pretty close and that one of the key concerns at this point is reducing our overseas military spending and mending relationships around the globe. Also holding other friendly nations responsible for conflicts that are in their neck of the woods.

Bob Barr is probably someone I'd consider voting for, but I really don't want another 4 years of establishment republican leadership.

Bob Barr is the Libertarian candidate.

This piece on him by the Onion made me laugh...

    "Issues:
(1995–2007) Trying to control the faith, sexuality, reproduction, drug use, and national allegiance of every single American.
    (2007–) Aw, **** it."

McCain, because Obama's mama is named "Stanley". Is Obama the first Presidential candidate to admit to cocaine use?

i can barely stomach replying to a post that ends with these words. let me go throw up, i'll be right back.

    obama because---

    1. its the economy, stupid!---no uber-expensive war without the GOP. too little government oversight exacerbated housing crisis (that and the GOP/Reagan hero, Greenspan). the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

    2. the rich dont pay enough taxes.

    3. the republican war machine created an unnecessary war that killed tons and cost about a TRILLION dollars. and havent done enough in afghanistan.

    4. mccain sold out--the mccain of '00 wouldve had my vote.

    5. republicans are too greedy and irresponsible to properly deal with protecting the environment.

    6. there is a slight chance that obama actually can unify congress to get them off their a$$.

    7. immigration. the democrats have it right.

    8. if my country is gonna get fleeced (see prescription drug plan and iraq war) i want it to be by democrats.

    9. i dont want a 70+ yr old prez with a token female vp.
