Lets just say, that I highly doubt it will be Charlie Crist

I dont think it will be any of them.

Romney - Polls are horrible with him
Jindal - Probably just getting his name out there
Crist - I can already hear the gay jokes

If any of those, it would be Romney. Depends how much influence the right wing of the GOP has with McCain.

Personally, I think Jindal is just trying to get in good with McCain for Louisiana's sake. I don't think he's jockeying for the VP spot.

I forgot about using him in Michigan too. The polls with Romney are lower but at this point those percentages don't paint close to a clear picture when looking at winning states.

Jindal is jockeying for 2012 and 2016. A cabinet job probably, after a successful term as governor. In 2020 or 2024, he'd still be younger than most candidates.

But if the legislature gets the notion that Jindal is one and done, then they are not likely to concede a lot to him while he's here.

I see him being governor of Louisiana until he runs for president in either 2016 or 2020 depending on party affiliation of incumbent.

my choice would be romney but word is mccain detests him. imo mccain needs romney to shore up his economic weaknesses. i'm thinking huckabee to deliver the south.

Kennedy detested Johnson, too. But it won him the south.
