He's left LSU and has not decided where he'll play div 1a football next year at this time. If I had to guess, I'd say the Swamp.....

He'll have his junior and senior left......

We won't do that...not exactly the best recruiting idea

Interesting take on Amp's situation. If that (school legally asking for money back) rule is true, I seriously doubt that Miles would go that route.

Just cause you have the power to do something, sometimes the best move is the "no move".... You do that to a player now, and down the line, others will take notice and it might make it harder to recruit.

Look at the mess Spurrier is in at South Carolina with pulling schollys from players. Sure, he has that power, but in doing so, it caused a LOT more "stink" than what "Darth Visor" expected and now he's fallen out of favor with quite a few high school coaches in his own talent base.

This is a situation that, IMO, you can't get too vendictive over. You have to just let him walk away if that's truely what Amp wants to do. I think you personally have to leave a crack in the door for him. Don't shut it completely. Leave a way for him to return if he decides to (within a reasonable timeframe of course), without risk of being punished, or feeling as if he's returning to only end up in the "dog house". ...but I wouldn't count on ANY of that happening....

I disagree with the article, let him geaux where he will and be happy.
If Amp can get his act together and stay healthy he could always play on a practice
squad or play in NFL Europe for a while.
I really don't think his college experience will matter as much as it use too.

Amp leaving isn't going to hurt us very much, we have plenty of talent to geaux around.
I think that maybe we should utilize Shrone Carey and Joseph Addai a little more, in
the game at the same time, Addai would make 1 heck of a receiver.

Why have bad oats and hard feelings about Amp Hill leaving, I think he would've stayed
    if NS was here.
Guys do leave sometimes when coaching changes happens like this, maybe it just isn't
for him like it was when NS was here or maybe he needs a new start to help
    him out.

How many times in sports do we see guys who geaux and get a new start somewhere
    actually pay off?
    It happens quite often.

I don't blame him for leaving, he could probably geaux somewhere else and start instead of coming of the bench.

Off topic, but SDMan, do you actually type out "geaux" whenever you want to say "go?" Just curious.

Miles nor any coach/university would ever make a kid pay back in this situation. that whole mentality reeks of stupidity and lacks any common sense.

What's especially odd is that he doesn't use it all the time. For example, he doesn't say "Shyreauxn Carey" or "deauxn't" or even "Eauxts." Just seems strange that the "eaux" meaning "oh" only applies to "go/geaux."
